Job Description:

Northridge Local Schools is seeking a dynamic, student-centered educator to join our team as a Third Grade Teacher at Northridge Elementary. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, deliver standards-based instruction, and support the academic and social-emotional growth of all students.

Primary Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with Ohio Learning Standards

Use formative and summative assessments to guide instruction

Collaborate with grade-level team and support staff

Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress

Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

Integrate technology and best instructional practices

Participate in professional development and school initiatives

Qualifications:

Valid Ohio teaching license in Early Childhood Education (PK-3) or Elementary (1-8), or appropriate licensure for Third Grade

Demonstrated knowledge of child development and elementary curriculum

Effective classroom management and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment

Successful background check and compliance with all state and district employment requirements
